Hi, I'm Marisely.

I know what it feels like to be spiritually exhausted — to love God but feel confused by what you've been taught, to want community but feel unsafe in church spaces, to carry burdens that no one around you seems to understand.

Life Anchor Center was born from my own journey of rebuilding — of learning to anchor my life in Christ and Scripture after seasons of hurt, confusion, and hard questions.

I created The Anchor Retreat Experience because I believe every woman deserves a place where she can stop striving, breathe deeply, and be reminded of what's true. Not a place that fixes you — a place that holds space for God to meet you right where you are.

Common Questions

Is this a spa experience?
No — and that's intentional. While our salt room is beautiful and restful, this is not a spa. It's a gospel-centered space designed for spiritual rest and biblical grounding. Think of it as a quiet room for your soul, not a treatment for your body.
I've been hurt by church. Is this safe for me?
Absolutely. Many of the women who come here have experienced church hurt, spiritual confusion, or toxic theology. There is no pressure to perform, no judgment, and no agenda — just warm hospitality, Scripture, and space to breathe. You are welcome exactly as you are.
I feel guilty taking time for myself. Is that normal?
So normal — and so worth pushing through. Rest is not selfish. Even Jesus withdrew to quiet places to pray. Taking time to be still before God is one of the most faithful things you can do. You can't pour from an empty cup, and God never asked you to.
What is The Inner Room membership?
The Inner Room is our monthly membership ($37/month) for women who want ongoing biblical community, teaching, and spiritual grounding — not just a one-time experience. It's perfect if you want a consistent place to grow in truth and be known.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself. We provide everything — tea, coffee, infused water, Scripture materials, and a warm welcome. Wear comfortable clothing and come ready to rest.
