You don't have to carry this alone.
Biblical counseling with Marisely and Pablo Marte — for the anxious, the grieving, the tired, the ones quietly holding it all together.
In person in East Rochester, NY, or online anywhere. Grounded in Scripture. No shame. No quick fixes. Just steady, honest help.
Maybe you know the feeling.
You've been holding it together for a long time. Praying harder. Trying harder. Pushing through.
But the worry still wakes you up at night. The same fight keeps happening with your spouse. The grief hasn't lifted. The anger scares you a little. And somewhere along the way, faith started to feel more like fear.
Maybe you've tried therapy and left feeling unheard. Or you've been told to just "have more faith" — and it made you feel worse.
You're not broken. You're carrying something heavy, and you weren't meant to carry it alone.

A place to be honest.
When you come to Life Anchor Center, you'll find a warm, unhurried space where you can share your story at your own pace — listened to with care, and without judgment.
We start with prayer and center our time on God's Word, gently looking at how Scripture speaks into what you're actually walking through.
Anxiety, a struggling marriage, grief, anger, hard questions about faith — we'll walk through it side by side. This isn't about quick fixes or just managing symptoms. It's steady, grace-filled progress as you learn to trust God more deeply — one season at a time.

Stories from the walk
Real people. Real change. Names have been kept private.
"I came in barely holding on. Mari didn't rush me. She just listened, prayed, and slowly walked me back to Scripture in a way I could actually hear. My anxiety isn't gone — but it doesn't run me anymore."
— J., Rochester
"My husband and I had the same fight for years. Meeting with Pablo and Mari together was the first time we actually got somewhere. They took us seriously and pointed us to what we were really believing underneath."
— A. & D., online session
"I'd been through secular therapy and left feeling like my faith didn't belong in the room. Here, the Bible wasn't a weapon — it was a lifeline. I finally felt understood."
— M., New York

A word about cost
We know it can feel strange to pay for something rooted in Scripture, so let's be honest about it. We're not selling the Bible — God's Word is free and belongs to everyone. What your fee covers is our time, our training, and the steady work of walking through this with you, week by week. Scripture itself says the worker deserves his wages. Our pricing is simple and out in the open, and the hardship rate is always there if you need it.
Why we don't take insurance
Biblical counseling is soul care grounded in God's Word — not licensed clinical therapy — so it sits outside the insurance system. Insurance requires a mental-health diagnosis on your permanent record and often dictates how long, how often, and even why you're allowed to be helped. We'd rather keep your care private, personal, and free to follow what you actually need. Payment is due at the time of your session.
