Deep Roots Member Covenant
A Christ-centered agreement for women who desire to become more grounded in Scripture, wiser in relationships, and steadier in their walk with Christ.
A safe, honest, Scripture-first space for women
Deep Roots is a biblical counseling and discipleship community. This covenant explains how we will care for this space together. Clear, specific expectations, reporting options, and consistent responses help our community remain safe, respectful, and rooted in Christ.
By joining and participating in Deep Roots, you are agreeing to the eight commitments below.
The Eight Commitments
Please read carefully. Each commitment protects you, your sisters, and the health of this community.
Christ and Scripture First
Deep Roots is a biblical counseling and discipleship community. Scripture is our final authority. I will come with humility, remembering that I am still learning and that spiritual growth is often a process.
Speak With Grace and Truth
I will communicate with kindness, honesty, and self-control. I will not shame, insult, harass, mock, manipulate, pressure, threaten, bully, or attack anyone. I will receive correction respectfully and address concerns privately when appropriate.
Protect Privacy
What is shared inside Deep Roots stays inside. No screenshots, recordings, or sharing of another member's private messages, photos, prayer requests, or stories. Confidentiality may be limited when there is concern about immediate harm, abuse, or a legal duty to report.
Share Wisely
I may share honestly, but with wisdom. I will not post graphic details of trauma, abuse, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, sexual content, or violence. For urgent care, I will contact emergency services, a crisis line, or a licensed professional. I will change names and identifying details.
Give Humble Encouragement
I will not diagnose another member, tell her what God "told me" about her life, pressure her, or present myself as her counselor. I will offer encouragement rooted in Scripture, listen before responding, and avoid quick fixes.
No Soliciting or Promotion
I will not sell, recruit, request donations, promote my business, send unsolicited DMs, or share affiliate links. I will not contact members privately for romantic, financial, business, or ministry purposes without clear invitation.
Honor Healthy Boundaries
Deep Roots is not therapy, medical care, legal advice, crisis intervention, or a replacement for a local church or qualified professional support. In an emergency, I will contact 911, 988 (U.S.), or local crisis resources.
Help Protect the Community
If I see content or behavior that violates this covenant, I will report it rather than engage in public conflict. To report a concern, I will email lifeanchorcoach@gmail.com with a brief description and any helpful context.
How Concerns Are Handled
Life Anchor Center may remove posts, limit access, pause participation, or end a membership when behavior is harmful, unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with this covenant. Serious concerns may result in immediate removal without a prior warning. Transparent rules and proportionate enforcement are important for maintaining member safety.
