A 6-Week Guided Journey

You're allowed to ask the questions you've been swallowing.

UNLEARN is for the Christian woman whose eyes are starting to open — and who is terrified that means she's losing her faith.

She's not. Together, we gently take apart what fear built and find out what's actually underneath. You decide what to do with it.

Woman in quiet reflection
If You're Here, You Already Know

You're exhausted from performing for a God you're never sure is pleased with you.

You were taught to fear Him more than trust Him. You learned shame about your body before you learned grace. You were told the right prayer, the right tithe, the right submission would unlock the blessing — and when it didn't, the answer was always that you didn't have enough faith.

Now your eyes are starting to open. And you can't say any of this out loud at church.

You're not losing your faith. You're losing the version of it that was hurting you. Those are not the same thing.

What UNLEARN Is

The map I wish someone had handed me.

Six weeks to tell the difference between the God you were given and the God who is. I'm not here to tell you whether to stay or leave your church. I'm here to make sure you can decide with truth instead of fear running the decision.

Stop performing

Step out of the loop of trying to earn a love that was already yours. Notice what you've been doing to stay safe with God — and put it down.

Tell fear from conviction

Learn — finally — to feel the difference between the Holy Spirit and the panic of a girl who was taught God is always disappointed.

Question without losing it all

Ask the questions you've been holding in the dark, without the terror that asking means you're done. Questioning is not the exit.

Loosen the shame

The body shame, the purity shame, the never-enough shame — wired in young, worn in deep. We name it specifically. We loosen it on purpose.

Trade the transaction for grace

If your faith has been a vending machine — right prayer in, blessing out — we sort the prosperity gospel out of the actual gospel.

Stop being alone with it

A small room of women who can finally say the things out loud. You decide what's next — stay, leave, rebuild. You decide from truth.
A Note From Mari

I know this room from the inside.

I was raised under a punishing-God theology. Later, in a vulnerable season, I believed the prosperity gospel — really believed it — and watched it not deliver what it promised. I'm not standing outside the story telling you what's wrong with it. I lived in it.

I'm also an ACBC-certified biblical counselor, which mostly matters because it means I did the rigorous work and I'm willing to say plainly when something taught in God's name was doing harm.

I won't tell you what to decide about your church. I won't hand you a tidy answer. I'll hand you the map — and trust you with it.

Quiet study and reflection
The Things You're Probably Not Saying Out Loud

Before you talk yourself out of this.

Isn't questioning the first step to losing my faith?
That's the fear most women walk in with. For almost every woman in this room, it's the opposite. The faith built on fear is the one that cracks under questioning. What's underneath it — the actual God — doesn't.
Are you going to tell me to leave my church?
No. I have no agenda for your decision. I only care that you get to make it freely — from truth, not from fear of God being mad at you for leaving or fear of people being mad at you for staying.
I'm scared to even admit I'm in a place like this.
That makes sense. You were taught that admitting it was the problem. It isn't. You can come in quietly. You don't have to perform here — that's kind of the whole point.
What if I've already left, or barely believe anymore — am I too far gone?
No. Women who've left and women who are barely hanging on belong in this room as much as women still in the pew every Sunday. There's no faith threshold to get in.
I've been burned before. What if this is just another thing that lets me down?
I won't sell you certainty I don't have. What I will do is be specific instead of vague, name the harm by its real name, and refuse to hand you a new system to perform inside of. That's the work.

This is the lowest UNLEARN will ever be. This first round is small, and the price goes up for every cohort after it.
