Hi, I'm Marisely.

I'm a biblical counselor and the founder of Life Anchor Center in Fairport, NY. I spent years in charismatic and word of faith spaces before God, in His mercy, led me to reformed theology and the sufficiency of Scripture.

I know what it's like to feel spiritually homeless — to question everything you were taught and wonder if you'll ever feel safe in community again.

The Inner Room was born from that journey. It's the space I wish I'd had — where the Word of God is enough, where women can be honest, and where no one is performing for approval.

I believe Scripture alone is sufficient for every hard thing a woman faces. I'd love to walk alongside you.

Common Questions

I've been burned by communities before. How is this different?
The Inner Room is intentionally small, private, and led by a biblical counselor — not an influencer. There's no pressure to perform, share before you're ready, or pretend everything is fine. This is a space built on the sufficiency of Scripture and the safety of honest sisterhood.
Is this just another Bible study?
No. While we center everything on Scripture, this is a full monthly experience — a teaching, a reflection guide, a live call, and ongoing community. It's designed to help you process, grow, and stay connected — not just check a box.
I don't have time for one more thing.
The teaching is only 15–20 minutes. The PDF is self-paced. The Zoom call is once a month. And the community prompts are there when you have a moment. This was designed for real women with real lives — not for adding pressure.
I'm not sure if I'm "reformed enough" for this.

Is this a replacement for biblical counseling?
